Ronan is the Managing Director at Harding Bond Property Consultants, and also the head of the building surveying team.

 

Alongside being a Charted Building surveyor he is also a member of numerous accompanying groups. These include the Royal institution of Charted Surveyors, Pyramus and Thisbe, The Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and has extensive knowledge of the building industry with his Higher National Diploma and BSc(Hons).

 

Ronan has had an extensive experience with working with a number of surveyors. This is mainly on design and construction projects, but also on Employers Agent on housing association schemes, helping him to develop his knowledge of the JCT Contracts suite.

Starting out as an Office Junior in an architect's practice, learning to draw construction drawings. Next to progress into the construction industry as a Assistant Site Manager specialising in manor homes and prestigious buildings in Holland Park.

His experience has allowed him to hone numerous skills, all of which form the practice's core skills, namely: building pathology; detailed knowledge of building materials; construction methods and how they interact with their environment. He has an intimate knowledge of the JCT building contracts which have been the industry standard form of contract for as long as he has been working in the industry.

Ronan believes that one of the keys to a successful construction project is the ability to build a project team with all members working in harmony, to deliver the scheme to the client on time and on budget. This is an ethos that Ronan values and works hard to ensure underpins all the projects that the practice undertakes. 

In his spare time, as you can tell from the picture, Ronan is a keen cyclist often competing in 100 mile sports and coaches his son's age group at Eastbourne Rugby Club.
